Comp details

 

Club Willoughby provides members and their guests access to three competition standard snooker tables on a no cost to play basis. Two of these tables were generously donated by The North Sydney Club who are no longer trading.

 

To obtain snooker balls simply ask for them at the front desk. You will need to show your membership badge to obtain the balls. Cues are available in the snooker room to use but it’s best if you bring your own.

 

The snooker club enters a team in the Combined Clubs Snooker Competition each year so if you want to try your luck at competition play and are willing to make a commitment to be available when required, please contact Jim Farrell (mobile 0434 086 634) who will be glad to hear from you. The competition is played every other Wednesday night. The season commences in April and ends early November. The snooker room is reserved during competition evenings.

 

The snooker club also runs in house competitions on a handicap and open (no start) basis at $10 per comp. The handicap events are well patronised and there is a level playing field so that anyone entering has a chance to win cash prizes.
